VALLEY COUNTY HOMESTEAD
This property belonged to one of the original homesteading families in McCall until 2005 at which time the last living member passed. It’s a breathtaking view from the home site across the expansive meadow and Lake Fork Creek in the foreground to Jughandle Mountain in the distance. The grade change on site made a Southeast facing daylight basement a great way to maximize the views and the sun on both levels. Our clients wanted a home that looked and felt eclectic, as though it had been added to over the years. Spruce siding was treated with a product called “Lifetime” that allows the wood to age.
